Good questions
The trips
Who are the trips for?
People aged 20 to 35 who want a real adventure, organized for them, with people their age. It's not a backpacker trip.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. Most people do. The group is small on purpose, so you won't be on your own for long.
How big is the group?
Small on purpose: big enough to meet new people, small enough to feel like friends by day two. Lena and Parker travel with you the whole way.
Where will I sleep?
In shared twin rooms with someone from the group, in local guesthouses and camps along the route.
How fit do I need to be?
If you can walk for a few hours and swim a little, you're fine.
Oman, 8 to 18 January 2027
What's the weather like in January?
Warm days by the coast and in Muscat, and cold nights in the mountains and the desert. Bring a warm layer.
Do I need a visa?
Many passports can enter Oman visa-free for up to 14 days, but it depends on your nationality. Check the rules for your passport before you book your flights.
Do I need to swim?
A little. Wadi Shab means swimming up to the cave, and the Daymaniyat Islands day is a snorkelling day.
What's included, and what isn't?
Included: 10 nights' accommodation, the 4x4s and fuel, an English-speaking local guide, a night at a desert camp, the Daymaniyat Islands boat day, turtle watching at Ras Al-Jinz, and your two hosts. Not included: flights to and from Muscat, travel insurance (required), a visa if your passport needs one, and most meals.
Which airport do I fly into?
Muscat. The trip starts and ends there, on 8 and 18 January.

[Cancellation terms: deposit and refund rules, to be added with the booking terms.]
