Why we started

Some of the best places in the world are the ones nobody you know has been to. Getting there on your own takes planning, nerve and a lot of time. Big tours take the adventure out of it.

Lost on Purpose is the in-between: a small group, a local guide, two hosts who have done the trip, and enough freedom that it still feels like your own.

Hi, I'm Lena. I grew up in Brussels with a Polish mom and a French dad, and I haven't stayed put since: Rotterdam, kitesurfing in Tarifa, an internship in Brazil, Barcelona, Mexico, Madrid, and now Bali. I speak five languages and I've been to more than 30 countries.

Some of my best trips started without a plan. Last December I skipped my connecting flight home and drove around Oman for eight days instead. In 2025 I organized my first group trip, to Morocco, to celebrate my birthday with my friends.

And now I want to bring more people along on the best experiences I've had in my life. Lost on Purpose is exactly that: small groups, all the freedom, none of the doing it alone.
